Do you remember ever sitting in the car while adults talked and invited you to sing in a futile attempt to take your mind off the endless voyage; in reality, what was going on in your mind was something like ‘what if there was a magic tunnel that will somehow end at our destination’, or some sort of futuristic wish ‘why can’t we just beam ourselves there?’ In Maps and Legends, Paige Berg Rizvi takes us from Tucson, AR to Santa Fe, NM just around the corner in the other end of one of her creations. Time and space traveling just like in our minds when we were kids. +
